Gary Everett Fenner, age 68, of Apple Creek, died Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at his residence, following a period of declining health.

Gary was born on October 14, 1955, in Wooster, Ohio, to the late Everett and Anna Bess (Smith) Fenner and married Dora Lucas in 2014 after being together for over 30 years. Dora died on February 1, 2021.

He graduated from Smithville High School in 1974 and worked as a laborer for Curry Lumber, and after retiring drove for the Amish.

Gary was a member of the Knights of Pythias. He enjoyed fishing, camping, playing country & classic rock music with his buddies where he played the guitar, loved to dance, liked to ride motorcycles when he was younger, and loved spending time with his family.

Surviving are two step-daughters, Christina Yoder of FL, and Rachel Yoder of Wooster; step-grandchildren, Alisha, Andre Jr., Avery, A'Shunae, Zaria, Dominik, Adaleine, and Zhylan; step great-grandchildren, Trey'Maine. and Brandon; two sisters, Norma (Ray) Boggs of Smithville, and Katherine (Tim) Taylor of Dalton; numerous nieces and nephews; and his best friend, his dog, Roxy.

He was preceded in death by, brother-in-law, Kenny Boggs; and nephew, Matthew Dale Boggs.

There will be no services and cremation will take place.
