Dennis M. Miller, 61, of Sugarcreek, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024 following an accident in Pike County, Ohio. He was born in Millersburg on May 26, 1963 to the late Melvin N. and Clara (Mast) Miller. He is survived by his wife, Laura Miller, whom he married on September 24, 1983. He was employed by Keim Home Center in Charm for the past 21 years and was a member of Mercy Hill Church in Berlin. He loved spending time with his family, especially his 11 grandchildren. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife and attending high school basketball games. In addition to his wife, Laura, he is survived by his children, Crystal (Adam) Hall of Dover, Tyrone (Lauren) Miller of New Philadelphia, Shelley (TJ) Rosenberg of Dover, and Devon (Nick) Kandel of Sugarcreek; his 11 grandchildren, Rylee, Kennedy, and Maddie Hall, Zoey, Izzy, and Trip Miller, Tenley and Ripken Rosenberg, and Theodore, Archer, and Celia Kandel; his siblings, Eli (Deb) Miller of Dundee, Melvin Jr. (Treva) Miller of Sugarcreek, Elsie (late Raymond) Dotson of West Lafayette, and Joseph (Bev) Miller of Sugarcreek; sister-in-law Karen (late David) Shetler of Fresno; and father-in-law Mose J. Miller of Millersburg. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Vernon (Erma) Miller; sister Lucy Ann Miller; sister-in-law Mary Miller; brother-in-law David Shetler; mother-in-law Katie Miller; step mother-in-law Mary Miller. Services will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 10 AM at Sharon Church in Sugarcreek with Pastor Erik Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Union Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Sharon Church. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek.
